Senior Software Engineer
I've been with TerraGo since day minus something - I'm one of the company founders. My path has been roundabout, starting with a degree in Religion and Philosophy, followed by a degree in Architecture (the physical kind, not the software kind). After leaving the architectural firm, I became a software developer, and I’ve never had to look for a job since. Another TerraGo founder, Michael Bufkin, hired me at Caddshare Corp. Caddshare was then bought by Layton Graphics. The work we did at Layton, distributing telephone company engineering records via PDF, lead to the hiring of another TerraGo founder, George Demmy. This set the stage for GeoPDF and the spin off of the company now known as TerraGo. Today, I'm the technical lead for our ArcGIS and GeoMedia product lines.

In my personal life, I’ve been an avid runner, bicyclist and triathlete for years, participating in marathons, cross-state bicycle rides and 70.3-distance triathlons. I have constant curiosity about science, technology, nature and the human condition.
