Account Manager - Defense Programs
My geospatial experience began in 1993 as an intelligence analyst in the Navy. I spent almost 10 years in the military with duty stations in Virginia, Venezuela and Nebraska (with scattered deployments in between). I consider the decision to join the military as one of the best I’ve ever made and truly enjoyed the people I met and the work I did serving my country.

I went to work at ERDAS in Atlanta after separating from the military. At ERDAS/Leica Geosystems, I was asked to perform three jobs that included Instructor for ERDAS IMAGINE, Project Manager in the Integrated Solutions Group and Sensor Implementation Manager for the ADS40 and ALS50 sensors produced in Switzerland. The positions at ERDAS/Leica enabled me to travel to more than 35 different countries around the world, something that would probably not have been possible for a small town guy from Pinson, Alabama!

I started working with TerraGo in February 2007 as a Sales Engineer supporting the TerraGo team. In December 2008, I moved to an Account Manager position taking care of the US Department of Defense, US Department of Homeland Security and Canadian Department of National Defence. The position is extremely rewarding knowing TerraGo Technologies helps our soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines perform the mission to the best of their ability.

In my spare time, I spend as much time as possible with my wife Jennifer. I need to share some of the time with my out of control beagle that has a serious separation anxiety and loves to “hunt ‘em up!”. I play amateur baseball in the Atlanta area where I’m a pretty impressive infielder (J), play a little golf from time to time (not quite as impressive) and try to do a bit of fishing on the Chattahoochee River near my house. During the fall and early winter, Saturdays are reserved for Auburn football while the spring and summer (hopefully fall classic) are reserved for my Braves. I enjoy NASCAR on lazy Sunday afternoons and try to go to Talladega for the races whenever possible.
