Create Portable, Interactive 3D Intelligence Products with TerraGo® GeoPDF® Solutions
The use of 3D imagery brings powerful new dimensions – and challenges – when creating maps.
Now it’s easy to create portable, interactive 3D GeoPDF® maps and imagery with TerraGo. Join us on Wednesday, May 4, at 2 p.m. ET for an informative webcast showcasing how you can easily convert LiDAR and other digital elevation data into 3D intelligence products.
In this webcast, you’ll learn about TerraGo 3D Composer™, a product developed in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Defense to publish and interact with 3D GeoPDF maps and imagery.
Michael Bufkin, TerraGo Chief Solutions Architect and co-patent holder for the process that creates geospatial PDF files, will demonstrate the production and use of TerraGo 3D GeoPDF maps and imagery for terrain visualization. Esri ArcScene version 10 will be used to create a 3D model which will then be converted to 3D GeoPDF using TerraGo 3D Composer. The data will be derived from both LiDAR and high resolution imagery.
This technology gives you the ability to:
- Deliver 3D products to field staff who have limited access to complex viewing software.
- Provide access to your complex LiDAR and 3D holdings using the free Adobe Reader and TerraGo Toolbar™.
- Use Esri ArcScene to create 3D views and export them to 3D GeoPDF.
- Convert output from industry standard GIS visualization products to 3D GeoPDF using both LiDAR point clouds and other traditional DEM data.
Register now to join us on May 4 for this informative webcast.
